Graphene is a nanoparticle that is typically extracted from graphite and ultimately can be extracted from just about anything carbon based. At a molecular level graphene forms a 2-dimensional lattice structure the thickness of an atom, offering an array of benefits.
We use Graphene’s nano-structure as the back bone in the formulation of Graphenstone coatings, reducing or eliminating the need for synthetic polymers that use harmful chemicals, typically present in traditional water based “plastic” or acrylic type paints.
The lattice structure of the graphene provides Graphenstone with innovative qualities:
Increased strength, improved flexibility, thermal conductivity, greater toughness and uniformity.
Qualities which translate into savings such as durability and ultimately, lower maintenance costs.
